Every country has got a special characteristic, what it’s famous for. For France for example this characteristic is wine, for the Netherlands cheese and for Germany it is definitely beer. There are very big regional differences between the numerous beer types and of course the endless discussion, which one is the very best.

Convince yourself and visit one of the several breweries in the Ruhr area. Since breweries are mostly connected with a restaurant, you can also have a meal in there. Often the brewery staff also provides guided tours through the building.
