The Limbecker Platz is a very new shopping center in the inner city of Essen. Its first section has been opened in March 2008.
The total complex will be completed in autumn 2009. Then the Limbecker Platz will offer an area of 70000 square meters with fashion, entertainment electronics and gift stores. In addition to that the shopping center provides a wide range of services as well as gastronomy.
You can also connect your shopping trip to a cinema visit at the Cinemaxx-Multiplex, which is arranged within splitting distance. The Musical Theatre Colloseum and campus of Duisburg-Essen University are close by as well.
